We produce an extensive range of internal flush doors to suit any project
- Acoustic doors to suit Rw30dB up to Rw41dB
- Non rated doors where no fire rating is required
- Fire rated doors to suit FD30, FD60, FD90 & FD120 (all can have smoke control seals to give the S rating i.e. FD30S)
When supplying FD90 and FD120 fire rated doors, we supply both the door and frame as they need to be manufactured as a pre-hung doorset complete with hinges to satisfy the fire certification.
Typical doors
- Core material cut to size
- Hardwood lipping applied to core edges
- Calibrated to ensure control of finished thickness
- Pressed with facing material i.e. veneer, laminate etc
- CNC Machined to finished size ensuring concise dimensional control and squareness
- Inspection
- Finishing i.e. lacquer, paint etc.
- Final inspection and packaging
Door cores
There are a number of door core materials available, normal thicknesses 44mm & 54mm depending on acoustic and fire rating; however, other thicknesses can be achieved ranging from 30mm through to 80mm.
- Solid 3 layer particle board, severe duty, up to FD60, up to Rw35dB
- Lamincore, traditional laminated softwood construction of less weight
- Lamincore ply faced for external grade applications
- Specialist blockboard core with non combustible sub facing, FD90 and FD120
- Specialist acoustic core greater than Rw35dB
Lippings
Typically 9mm (19mm for rounded and rebated edges) hardwood generally applied before facing so as not to be visible on the face of the door, optional lipping available after facing.

Additional features
Doors can be machined out with hardwood inserts where required to produce decorative features and grooves that can run horizontally, vertically and square/rectangular patterns.
Decorative details such as mouldings/feature panels can be applied to the door (surface mounted) or machined out and let in to the door.
