Graefe launches long awaited brochure

Graefe, who have been busily producing fine, real wood veneer products for over 170 years, earlier this year tasked one of London’s top design agencies to replace its dated literature with a fully comprehensive catalogue of their products, skills and craftsmanship.
The brochure is a stunning piece of work in its own right and displays beautifully some of Graefe’s more prestigious projects. But its not just about aesthetics, the brochure includes a wealth of information about the intricacies of Graefe’s craft and services, which extend far beyond basic joinery, and with what can only be described as an education in veneer, veneer cutting processes and finishes.
Graefe’s MD, Andy Shepherd, said at the launch, “Our brief was to give our customers a good understanding of veneer and the processes involved in the creation of beautiful veneer products. Collating the depth of information given in the brochure has been painstaking for all our staff, many of whom dug deep to impart years’ of ‘knowhow’, and with great humour, tolerated being photographed in their workshop. I can confidently speak for all us when I say we are thrilled with the finished article.”
