Features that can be incorporated into your doors

  • Cut outs for grills and other specialist items
  • Machining and preparation for ironmongery i.e. locks, hinges, closers, push plates
  • Wireways through door core to take cabling for electronic locking mechanism, usually horizontal at lock height

Vision panels

Graefe can provide factory glazed vision panels to achieve performances up to and including FD120 using a range of high performance glass. For acoustic doors, glass is selected to achieve the required RwdB rating.

Vision panel materials

  • Laminate clear glass, non fire rated
  • Pyroshield, for wire glass requirement i.e. FD30 & FD60
  • 7mm Pyrobelite clear glass, FD30
  • 16mm Pyrobel clear glass, FD60
  • 21/25mm Pyrobel clear glass, FD90 and FD120
  • Double glazed unit with integral privacy blind
  • Hardwood beads – timber species will be the same as the veneer on doors or a close match where solid hardwood is not available. For paint doors maple is typically used

Finishes

Glazing beads can be finished with full factory polish, primed for site finishing or full factory paint.

Vision panel bead sections

  • RG1(30) – Cloak bead, non fire rated and FD30
  • RG1(60) – Cloak bead, FD60
  • RG2 – Flush bead with 3mm x 3mm quirk, non fire rated, FD30 and FD60

Other special beads including stainless steel cover beads available to suit architectural requirements.
